Although earnings season is coming to a close, some big names have yet to report.  All eyes will be on Pinterest's (PINS) first earnings report since going public, as well as quarterly results from blue-chip concerns Walmart (WMT) and Cisco Systems (CSCO). Pot concerns Aurora Cannabis (ACB) and Tilray (TLRY) will unveil earnings this week, too. On the economic front, Wall Street will look at the Fed balance sheet on Thursday, along with retail sales, industrial production data, and housing starts. Several Fed leaders will speak throughout the week, as well.

Below is a brief list of some key market events scheduled for the upcoming week. All earnings dates listed below are tentative and subject to change. Please check with each company's respective website for official reporting dates.

It will be a relatively quiet Monday, May 13, with speeches from Boston Fed President Eric Rosengren and Fed Vice Chair Richard Clarida. Earnings will be reported by Bilibili (BILI), Kornit Digital (KRNT), and Take-Two Interactive (TTWO).

On Tuesday, May 14, Fed speeches will continue with, New York Fed President John Williams stepping up to the proverbial podium, joined by Kansas City Fed President Esther George later in the day. Data on import and export prices is slated for release, too. Aurora Cannabis (ACB), Container Store (TCS), CyberArk Software (CYBR), Ralph Lauren (RL), and Tilray (TLRY) will all step into the earnings confessional.

Wednesday, May 15, will be chock-full of economic activity, with data on retail sales, the Empire State manufacturing survey, industrial production, business inventories, the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB) housing market index, weekly crude inventories, and Treasury International Capital (TIC) all on tap. Traders can expect earnings reports from Cisco Systems (CSCO), Alibaba (BABA), Dillard’s (DDS), Jack in the Box (JACK), Macy's (M), and Netease (NTES).

The Fed balance sheet, housing starts data, weekly jobless claims, and the Philadelphia Fed business outlook survey are all due out on Thursday, May 16. Dow member Walmart (WMT) will throw its hat into the earnings ring, along with Applied Materials (AMAT), Baidu (BIDU), iQIYI (IQ), NVIDIA (NVDA), Pinterest (PINS), and (WIX).

Friday, May 17, will wind down with two more speeches from John Williams, as traders look over consumer sentiment data, as well as an earnings report from Deere (DE).
