While the bulk of earnings season has passed -- with strong reactions to tech stocks Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL), Facebook Inc (NASDAQ:FB), and Amazon.com, Inc. (NASDAQ:AMZN) still fresh in traders' minds -- there's still plenty of notable names set to report. This week, for instance, retailers will be in the earnings spotlight, while Dow component Walt Disney Co (NYSE:DIS) is also set to report. Meanwhile, although the economic calendar doesn't kick into high gear until week's end, the action will be bracketed by speeches from a handful of Federal Reserve officials.

Below is a brief list of some key market events scheduled for the upcoming week. All earnings dates listed below are tentative and subject to change. Please check with each company's respective website for official reporting dates.
