The Dow snapped its three-session losing streak with an impressive 293-point win. Across all 12 options exchanges, 6.7 million calls crossed, compared to 7.3 million puts. The day's put/call volume ratio closed at 1.09.

Even though the stock got hammered, GoPro Inc (NASDAQ:GPRO) calls changed hands at twice the average pace. G-III Apparel Group, Ltd. (NASDAQ:GIII) calls crossed at a rate nine times normal, following the company's impressive quarterly report.

TESARO Inc (NASDAQ:TSRO) puts crossed at three times what's expected, amid a wild day for pharma stocks. Meanwhile, put volume for Republic Airways Holdings Inc. (NASDAQ:RJET) ended two times higher than normal amid bankruptcy concerns.
