It's almost time for space exploration names to have their turn in the earnings confessional. Rocket Lab USA Inc (NASDAQ:RKLB) will announce third-quarter results before tomorrow's open, while peers AST SpaceMobile Inc (NASDAQ:ASTS) and Intuitive Machines Inc (NASDAQ:LUNR) will report before the open on Thursday, Nov. 14.

RKLB is up 11% to trade at a two-year high of $15 at last check, while pacing for its fifth-straight daily gain. The stock has been in rally mode since bouncing off long-term support from its 20-day moving average in late October, and sports a 241.4% year-over-year lead.

ASTS was last seen up 7.7% to trade at $23.69 at last glance, and added a jaw-dropping 449.5% in the last 12 months. The equity has taken a step back from its Aug. 20, all-time closing high of $38.60, but support still remains from its ascending 110-day moving average.

LUNR is up 9.2% to trade at $10.62 at last check, making a run toward its February peak. The 40-day moving average served as a trampoline for the shares, which boast a nearly 315% year-to-date gain on their way to their sixth gain over the past seven sessions.

However, with all of this outperformance, its worth noting that all three stocks have a dismal history of post-earnings reactions, finishing most of their last eight next-day sessions lower. The options market is also pricing in much larger-than-average moves for RKLB and LUNR than either has seen in the last two years.
