Today the producer price index (PPI) is on the docket, as well as initial and continuing jobless claims.

The following public companies are slated to release corporate earnings today, January 13:

Delta Air Lines Inc. (NYSE:DAL-- $40.61) provides scheduled air transportation for passengers and cargo in the United States and internationally. Delta Air Lines will report its Q4 earnings of 2021 before the close today.

Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Co. Ltd. (NYSE:TSM-- $132.23) manufactures and sells integrated circuits and semiconductors. Taiwan Semiconductor will report its Q4 earnings of 2021 before the close today.

Washington Federal Inc. (NASDAQ:WAFD-- $36.22) operates as the bank holding company for Washington Federal Bank, National Association that provides lending, depository, insurance, and other banking services in the United States. Washington Federal will report its Q1 earnings of 2022 after the market closes today.

Looking ahead to tomorrow, Friday features a deluge of economic data. The import price and UMich consumer sentiment indexes are on deck, while retail sales, industrial production, capacity utilization, and business inventories are also due out.
