Three more companies are expected to slowly kick off earnings season today
Today will bring the ADP employment report, Markit composite PMI, and minutes from the Federal Open Market Committee (FOMC) meeting.
The following public companies are slated to release corporate earnings today, January 5:
RPM International Inc. (NYSE:RPM -- $97.11) manufactures, markets, and sells specialty chemicals for the industrial, specialty, and consumer markets worldwide. RPM will report its Q2 earnings of 2022 before the close today.
The Simply Good Foods Co. (NASDAQ:SMPL -- $42.35) operates as a consumer packaged food and beverage company in North America and internationally. Simply Good Foods will report its Q1 earnings of 2022 before the close today.
Resources Connection Inc. (NASDAQ:RGP -- $18.26) provides consulting services to business customers under the Resources Global Professionals name in North America, Europe, and the Asia Pacific. Resources Connection will report its Q2 earnings of 2022 after the market closes today.
Looking ahead to tomorrow, initial and continuing weekly jobless claims are scheduled for Thursday, as well as trade deficit data, the ISM services index, and factory orders.
