Things will pick up a bit today, with the S&P CoreLogic Case-Shiller home-price index, as well as the consumer confidence index, and new home sales

The following public companies are slated to release quarterly earnings reports today, May 25:

AutoZone Inc. (NYSE:AZO -- $1,448.40) retails and distributes automotive replacement parts and accessories. AutoZone will report its Q3 earnings of 2021 before the bell today.

Cracker Barrel Old Country Store Inc. (NASDAQ:CBRL -- $160.90) develops and operates the Cracker Barrel Old Country Store concept in the United States. Cracker Barrel will report its Q3 earnings of 2021 before the bell today.

Dycom Industries Inc. (NYSE:DY -- $83.05) provides specialty contracting services in the United States. Dycom will report its Q1 earnings of 2021 before the bell today.

MakeMyTrip Ltd. (NASDAQ:MMYT -- $25.86) an online travel company, sells travel products and solutions. MakeMyTrip will report its Q1 earnings of 2021 before the bell today.

Viasat Inc. (NASDAQ:VSAT -- $47.42) provides broadband and communications products and services. Viasat will report its Q1 earnings of 2021 before the bell today.

Lordstown Motors Corp. (NASDAQ:RIDE -- $9.58) operates as an original equipment manufacturer of light duty fleet vehicles. Lordstown Motors reported ($0.23) earnings per share for the quarter, missing the consensus estimate of ($0.10) by $0.13.

Luminex Corp. (NASDAQ:LMNX -- $36.67) develops, manufactures, and sells proprietary biological testing technologies and products. Luminex reported $0.19 earnings per share (EPS) for the quarter, beating the consensus estimate of $0.15 by $0.04. The business earned $110.69 million during the quarter, compared to analyst estimates of $110.11 million.

Nordson Corp. (NASDAQ:NDSN -- $201.83) engineers, manufactures, and markets products and systems to dispense, apply, and control adhesives, coatings, polymers, sealants, biomaterials, and other fluids. Nordson reported $2.12 earnings per share (EPS) for the quarter, topping the consensus estimate of $1.64 by $0.48. The firm had revenue of $590 million for the quarter, compared to analysts' expectations of $546.77 million.
