We are  closing out the month of January with a bang. Today will feature both the employment cost and final consumer sentiment indexes, and the Chicago PMI. Also on deck is personal income, consumer spending, and core inflation data. There will also be no shortage of additional earnings reports to unpack today, alongside the unfolding news regarding WallStreetBets, Reddit, and short squeeze targets.

The following companies are slated to release quarterly earnings reports today, January 29:

Badger Meter, Inc. (NYSE:BMI -- $96.65) manufactures and markets flow measurement, control, and communication solution. Badger Meter will report its fourth-quarter earnings of 2020 before the bell today.

Closing out the week, a plethora of data will be reported, including nonfarm payrolls and average hourly earnings.
