Disney Headlines Upcoming Earnings Slate

The upcoming earnings schedule doesn't feature as many Dow components as recent weeks, with just Walt Disney (DIS) set to report, but there are still a number of notable companies on the list. Early in the week traders will hear quarterly results from Uber (UBER) and Shake Shack (SHAK), with names like Square (SQ) and Dropbox (DBX) due to report later on.

Below is a brief list of some key market events scheduled for the upcoming week. All earnings dates listed below are tentative and subject to change. Please check with each company's respective website for official reporting dates.

The schedule for Monday, Nov. 4, features factory orders and motor vehicle sales. Bausch Health (BHC), Cabot (CBT), Chegg (CHGG), Chemours (CC), Fabrinet (FN), Ferrari (RACE), Groupon (GRPN), Hertz (HTZ), Marriott (MAR), RingCentral (RNG), SHAK, Sprint (S), Sysco (SYY), Tandem Diabetes Care (TNDM), Tenet Healthcare (THC), UBER, and Under Armour (UAA) will report earnings. 

For Tuesday, Nov. 5, international trade data, Markit's services purchasing managers index (PMI), the Institute for Supply Management's (ISM) non-manufacturing index, and the Job Openings and Labor Turnover Survey (JOLTS) will come out. Minneapolis Federal Reserve Bank President Neel Kashkari will speak after the close.

Allergan (AGN), Amarin (AMRN), Arconic (ARNC), Chesapeake Energy (CHK), GW Pharmaceuticals (GWPH), Kratos Defense (KTOS), Mallinckrodt Plc (MNK), Match Group (MTCH), Mylan (MYL), Newmont Mining (NEM), Peloton (PTON), Red Robin Gourmet Burgers (RRGB), Regeneron Pharmaceuticals (REGN), Tapestry (TPR), Trivago (TRVG), Whiting Petroleum (WLL), and WW (WW) make up the earnings slate.

Productivity and labor costs and weekly crude inventories come out on Wednesday, Nov. 6. Barrick Gold (GOLD), Care.com (CRCM), Cars.com (CARS), Carvana (CVNA), Coty (COTY), CVS Health (CVS), Expedia (EXPE), Fitbit (FIT), Fossil (FOSL), Gluu Mobile (GLUU), Humana (HUM), Lumber Liquidators (LL), Marathon (MRO), New York Times (NYT), Office Depot (ODP), Papa John's (PZZA), Qualcomm (QCOM), Roku (ROKU), SolarEdge Technologies (SEDG), SQ, TripAdvisor (TRIP), and Wendy's (WEN) will report earnings.

Weekly jobless claims is the only economic report for Thursday, Nov. 7. DIS, Activision Blizzard (ATVI), AmerisourceBergen (ABC), Axon (AAXN), Cardinal Health (CAH), DBX, GoPro (GPRO), Keurig Dr Pepper (KDP), Nielsen (NLSN), Planet Fitness (PLNT), Plug Power (PLUG), Ralph Lauren (RL), Sarepta Therapeutics (SRPT), SeaWorld (SEAS), Stamps.com (STMP), Symantec (SYMC), Take-Two Interactive (TTWO), Teva Pharmaceutical (TEVA), TrueCar (TRUE), Yelp (YELP), Zillow (ZG), and Zoetis (ZTS) will report earnings.

For Friday, Nov. 8, the University of Michigan consumer sentiment index will be released. Duke Energy (DUK), Revlon (REV), and U.S. Concrete (USCR) make up the earnings schedule.
