Next week will be packed with earnings, as blue chip Walt Disney (DIS) and e-tailer Etsy (ETSY) step into the spotlight. Earnings from Lyft (LYFT) and Roku (ROKU) are also on tap. Elsewhere, the consumer price index (CPI), and producer price index (PPI) will be two of the biggest releases on the earnings front. Plus, several Fed presidents will be speaking throughout the week.

Below is a brief list of some key market events scheduled for the upcoming week. All earnings dates listed below are tentative and subject to change. Please check with each company's respective website for official reporting dates.

The week will start with a speech from Philadelphia Fed President Patrick Harker, on Monday, May 6. Corporate results from Hertz Global (HTZ), Mosaic (MOS), Papa John's (PZZA), Rent-A-Center (RCII), Sysco (SYY), and Tyson Foods (TSN) will kick off the jam-packed earnings week.

Dallas Fed President Robert Kaplan will continue speeches on Tuesday, May 7, and the economic calendar will gear up with data from the Labor Department's Job Openings and Labor Turnover Survey (JOLTS). It will be a busy day for earnings, with 2U (TWOU), 3D Systems (DDD), Anheuser Busch Inbev (BUD), Crocs (CROX), Editas Medicine (EDIT), Electronic Arts (EA), Lyft (LYFT), Lumentum (LITE), Match Group (MTCH), Mylan N.V. Beauty (ELF), Etsy (ETSY), Fossil (FOSL), Honda Motor (HMC), Marathon Petroleum (MPC), McKesson (MCK), New York Times (NYT), Office Depot (ODP), Roku (ROKU), and Wendy's (WEN).

Fed speeches will pick back up on Thursday, May 9, with Atlanta Fed President Raphael Bostic stepping up to the proverbial podium. The day will be awash with economic activity, with traders awaiting data on international trade, weekly jobless claims, the Fed's balance sheet, and the producer price index (PPI). AMC Entertainment (AMC), Becton Dickinson (BDX), Cardinal Health (CAH), Care.com (CRCM), Dropbox (DBX), GoPro (GPRO), Kuerig Dr Pepper (KDP), Overstock.com (OSTK), Puma Biotech (PBYI), and Yelp (YELP).

Bostic will end the week with yet another speech on Friday, May 10, joined by New York Fed President John Williams, who will speak later that morning. Wall Street will look at consumer price index (CPI) data and the Treasury budget. The cacophonous earnings week will end on a relatively quiet note, with JD.com (JD), Marriott (MAR), E.W. Scripps (SSP), and Viacom (VIAB) releasing their quarterly results.
