The juiciest portion of earnings season has passed, but there's still plenty more to go. Dow components Merck & Co., Inc. (NYSE:MRK) and Pfizer Inc. Traders will also digest results from Elon Musk's Tesla Motors Inc (NASDAQ:TSLA).

Meanwhile, there's a bevy of economic news for Wall Street to process, including speeches from at least four regional Fed presidents. Perhaps most importantly, all eyes will be on Friday's nonfarm payrolls report for April, which could help determine when the central bank decides to raise interest rates.
