Monthly retail sales will highlight a relatively light economic docket this week. Stepping into the earnings confessional are beverage behemoths The Coca-Cola Co (NYSE:KO), PepsiCo, Inc. (NYSE:PEP), and Dr Pepper Snapple Group Inc. (NYSE:DPS), cyber-security firms FireEye Inc (NASDAQ:FEYE), LifeLock Inc (NYSE:LOCK), and Cyberark Software Ltd (NASDAQ:CYBR), as well as tech titan Cisco Systems, Inc. (NASDAQ:CSCO) and electric automaker Tesla Motors Inc. (NASDAQ:TSLA). Below is a brief list of some key market events scheduled for the upcoming week.   • There are no notable economic reports on Monday. On the earnings side of the coin, AMAG Pharma (AMAG), Computer Sciences (CSC), (COUP), Hasbro (HAS), Loews Corporation (L), (NTES), Neurocrine Biosciences (NBIX), Randgold Resources (GOLD), (SOHU), and Tidewater (TDW) will report.


  • Tuesday's docket includes the Labor Department's Job Openings and Labor Turnover Survey (JOLTS). KO, Akamai Technologies (AKAM), Blue Nile (NILE), CVS Health (CVS), Dean Foods (DF), Genworth Financial (GNW), Kinross Gold (KGC), LOCK, Molson Coors Brewing (TAP), Monster Worldwide (MWW), Regeneron Pharmaceuticals (REGN), RetailMeNot (SALE), Reynolds American (RAI), Seattle Genetics (SGEN), SouFun Holdings (SFUN), Spirit Airlines (SAVE), Starwood Hotels (HOT), Talisman Energy (TLM), and Western Union (WU) will step into the earnings spotlight.


  • The Energy Information Administration's (EIA) weekly petroleum status report and the Treasury budget come out on Wednesday.   • On Thursday, weekly jobless claims, December business inventories, and January retail sales are slated for release. Groupon (GRPN), Zynga (ZNGA), Alpha Natural Resources (ANR), American International Group (AIG), Apache (APA), Avon Products (AVP), Boyd Gaming (BYD), CBS (CBS), Coca-Cola Enterprises (CCE), CYBR, DPS, Himax Technologies (HIMX), Hospira (HSP), Kellogg (K), King Digital Entertainment (KING), Kraft Foods (KRFT), Manchester United (MANU), Melco Crown Entertainment (MPEL), Pinnacle Entertainment (PNK), Qlik Technologies (QLIK), Radian Group (RDN), Shire plc (SHPG), Shutterfly (SFLY), and World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) will step into the earnings confessional.


  • Friday's economic calendar includes import and export prices, as well as the University of Michigan's consumer sentiment survey. Exelon (EXC), J.M. Smucker (SJM), Red Robin Gourmet (RRGB), and Restaurant Brands International (QSR) will release earnings.
