5 Things You Need to Know Today
- Stocks in Asia reversed Monday's gains, thanks in part to a negative note from HSBC.
- The Chicago Board Options Exchange (CBOE) saw 806,315 call contracts traded on Monday, compared to 463,986 put contracts. The resultant single-session equity put/call ratio fell to 0.58, while the 21-day moving average remained at 0.74.
- BHP Billiton Limited (ADR) (NYSE:BHP) is set to fall 2.3% at the open, after the mining magnate slashed its dividend for the first time in 15 years following a 92% drop in fiscal first-half profits.
