Year-to-date, FireEye Inc (NASDAQ:FEYE) has added 49%, recently breaking out to annual-high territory. Things are no different today, with the shares up 1.1% at $47.06, after earlier touching another annual high, at $47.67. As a result, call options are in demand, with the contracts more than tripling puts.

It looks like traders are buying to open FEYE's June 45 call, which means they're betting on extended gains above $45 before the options expire at the close on Friday, June 19. Delta on the contracts currently sits at 0.70, meaning the options market is giving them a 70% chance of finishing in the money.

It's not unusual to see traders exchanging FEYE calls, though. The security's Schaeffer's put/call open interest ratio (SOIR) comes in at 0.52, meaning call open interest nearly doubles put open interest, at least when looking at contracts expiring in three months or less. Plus, the stock's short-term traders are more call-skewed than normal, since this reading ranks in the 15th annual percentile.

Elsewhere on the Street, analysts have taken a more skeptical stance on FireEye Inc (NASDAQ:FEYE). Half of covering brokerage firms say the shares are a "hold" or worse. Furthermore, at its intraday peak, FEYE topped its consensus 12-month price target of $47.50. If the security continues this hot streak, it could see some tailwinds in the form of upgrades and/or price-target hikes.
