SanDisk Corp (NASDAQ:SNDK) is down 9.6% to trade at $1,443.26 as Samsung Electronics continues to drag memory-related equities after its worst day in three weeks.

Today's move have the shares breaking below the 80-day moving average for the first time since Aug. 13, and pacing for its fourth daily loss out of the past five sessions. Year-to-date though, the equity is up 542%.

Sandisk's Schaeffer's Volatility Scorecard (SVS) sits at a relatively high 88 out of 100, indicating the stock has tended to exceed option traders' volatility expectations during the past year.
