Next week has the potential to move the needle on Wall Street. Investors will unpack June consumer and producer price index reports, along with the unofficial kickoff of second-quarter earnings season.

Big banks will take center stage. Slated to report are Bank of America (BAC), Citigroup (C), Goldman Sachs (GS)JPMorgan Chase (JPM), Morgan Stanley (MS), Wells Fargo (WFC), and more. Plus, big names like GE Aerospace (GE), Netflix (NFLX), Travelers (TRV), United Airlines (UAL), and UnitedHealth (UNH) are also due out.

Below is the schedule of key market events for the week ahead. All economic dates are tentative and subject to change.

There are no major economic reports on Monday, July 13.

Tuesday, July 14 brings the June consumer price index (CPI) and a speech from Chicago Fed President Austan Goolsbee.

Wednesday, July 15 is packed with the Empire State manufacturing index, June's producer price index (PPI), personal consumption data, and the Fed's Beige Book. New York Fed Chair John Williams will also speak.

On Thursday, July 16, expect the Philadelphia Fed manufacturing index, June retail sales, weekly jobless claims, and business inventories. Also expected are the NAHB housing market index and pending home sales.

Friday, July 17 wraps up the week with June housing starts and building permits, industrial production and capacity utilization, and the preliminary July University of Michigan consumer sentiment survey.
