Oracle Corp (NYSE:ORCL) stock is near the bottom of the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE), last seen down 3.2% to trade at $167.35. AI-driven stocks are down across the board, following a Wall Street Journal report that OpenAI fell short of the 1 billion weekly active users goal set internally, with its annual revenue target missing the mark as well.

Sector peers CoreWeave (CRWV) and Advanced Micro Devices (AMD) are 3.2% and 3.1% lower, respectively.

ORCL is heading for a fourth-straight loss and is now 13.6% lower in 2026. The security's April rally was halted at the descending 126-day moving average. Year over year, Oracle stock is 20.2% higher still.

Calls rule the roost, per the equity's 10-day call/put volume ratio of 3.52 at the International Securities Exchange (ISE), Chicago Board Options Exchange (CBOE), and NASDAQ OMX PHLX (PHLX) that sits higher than 96% of annual readings.

What's more, ORCL's Schaeffer's Volatility Scorecard (SVS) comes in at 99 out of 100, so the shares have consistently realized higher volatility than the options have priced in over the past 12 months.
