Next week's holiday-shortened stock market calendar will be dominated by bank earnings. Among the financial firms scheduled to report are blue-chip JPMorgan Chase & Co. (NYSE:JPM), as well as mega-caps Citigroup Inc (NYSE:C) and Wells Fargo & Co (NYSE:WFC). On the economic front, the producer price index (PPI) could move the market on Thursday, while Good Friday will bring the consumer price index (CPI) and retail sales data, despite U.S. markets being shuttered.

Below is a brief list of some key market events scheduled for the upcoming week. All earnings dates listed below are tentative and subject to change. Please check with each company's respective website for official reporting dates.

There are no notable economic reports or earnings scheduled for Monday, April 10. The Labor Department's Job Openings and Labor Turnover Survey (JOLTS) is slated for release on Tuesday, April 11, while Minneapolis Fed President Neel Kashkari will speak. Bank of the Ozarks (OZRK) will step behind the earnings mic.

On Wednesday, April 12, import and export prices and the Treasury budget will come out. The regularly scheduled update on U.S. crude inventories is also slated for release. Reporting earnings will be Fastenal (FAST), Infosys (INFY), and Pier 1 Imports (PIR).

On Thursday, April 13, Wall Street will digest weekly jobless claims, the PPI, and the Thomson Reuters/University of Michigan consumer sentiment survey. JPM, C, PNC Financial (PNC), and WFC will tell all in the earnings confessional. U.S. markets will be closed on Friday, April 14, in observance of Good Friday. However, the CPI, retail sales, and business inventories data are still due out.
