While the economic and earnings schedule is set to slow down next week, there's still plenty on the docket to hold Wall Street's attention. A speech from Fed Vice Chairman Stanley Fischer will get the ball rolling on Monday. For earnings, several solar energy stocks will grab the spotlight, while retail names Dicks Sporting Goods Inc (NYSE:DKS) and Urban Outfitters, Inc. (NASDAQ:URBN) will follow in the footsteps of Abercrombie & Fitch Co. (NYSE:ANF)

Below is a brief list of some key market events scheduled for the upcoming week. All earnings dates listed below are tentative and subject to change. Please check with each company's respective website for official reporting dates.

Monday, 3/7

The only notable event on the economic docket for Monday is Fischer's speech to the National Association for Business Economics (NABE), slated for 2:30 p.m. ET. Shake Shack (SHAK), United Natural Foods (UNFI), and Urban Outfitters (URBN) will report earnings.

Tuesday, 3/8

There are no notable economic reports due out on Tuesday. Dicks Sporting Goods (DKS) and Sunedison Semiconductor (SEMI) are slated to unveil earnings.

Wednesday, 3/9

The weekly report on crude inventories comes out on Wednesday. For earnings, Express (EXPR), FuelCell Energy (FCEL), Square (SQ), and XOMA (XOMA) are the biggest names reporting.

Thursday, 3/10

The Treasury budget and weekly jobless claims make up Thursday's economic docket. The earnings calendar picks up, with Canadian Solar (CSIQ), El Pollo Loco (LOCO), Dollar General (DG), Plug Power (PLUG), Sunrun (RUN), VeriFone (PAY), and Zumiez (ZUMZ) all reporting.

Friday, 3/11

Import and export prices are all alone on Friday's economic schedule. Earnings from Lifetime Brands (LCUT) will close out the week.
