With last week's Fed meeting hinting that central bankers are keeping a close eye on the strength of the economy, speculators -- and Fed officials -- will be paying particular attention to this week's batch of jobs data, which culminates with Friday's nonfarm payrolls report.

Additionally, although earnings season has already served up big results from the likes of Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL), Facebook Inc (NASDAQ:FB), and Amazon.com, Inc. (NASDAQ:AMZN), there are plenty of notable names still left to report. Tech titan Alphabet Inc (NASDAQ:GOOGL) will take its place in the earnings spotlight Monday evening, while camera concern GoPro Inc (NASDAQ:GPRO) will report Wednesday evening. What's more, Chipotle Mexican Grill, Inc.'s (NYSE:CMG) earnings should garner some attention, after the recent E. coli scandal sent the stock spiraling.

Below is a brief list of some key market events scheduled for the upcoming week. All earnings dates listed below are tentative and subject to change. Please check with each company's respective website for official reporting dates.
