Stocks are selling off across the board today, as geopolitical tensions in the Middle East flare back up. The Dow Jones Industrial Average (DJI) and Nasdaq Composite (IXIC) are down 207 and 260 points, respectively, while the S&P 500 Index (SPX) is also sharply lower. A ceasefire with Iran looks unrealistic, after President Donald Trump took to Truth Social to post: “A whole civilization will die tonight, never to be brought back again. I don’t want that to happen, but it probably will.”

Oil prices spiked in response, with West Texas Intermediate (WTI) 3% higher at last look. Wall Street's "fear gauge" is back on the rise, too, with the Cboe Volatility Index (VIX) back above 25.

  • Broadcom stock pops on new Google deal.
  • Plus, Hertz bulls buy in; and two stocks reacting to analyst adjustments.
