  2. The Chicago Board Options Exchange (CBOE) saw 723,234 call contracts traded on Thursday, compared to 435,767 put contracts. The resultant single-session equity put/call ratio fell to 0.60 , while the 21-day moving average stayed at 0.70.
  3. For the second month in a row, retailer Gap Inc (NYSE:GPS) posted better-than-expected same-store sales figures. This time around the company announced a 2% increase in the figure, against an expected 3% drop. The shares are now eyeing a 4% jump when the market opens.
