Schaeffer's Investment Research, Inc., is a research-driven provider of investment research and recommendations featuring a unique, time-tested analysis of investor expectations. Schaeffer's, a Cincinnati-based publisher, produced its first newsletter for investors in 1981.
What began as two employees, a kitchen table and one newsletter has grown into an investment publications business with more than 65 employees, our several signature newsletters, an award winning website, and over 30 electronically delivered stock and options alert services. Bernie shares his Expectational Analysis® approach in his book, The Option Advisor: Wealth-Building Techniques Using Equity & Index Options, published in October 1997 by John Wiley & Sons. He also contributed a chapter on sentiment analysis to two books from Bloomberg Press, New Thinking in Technical Analysis: Trading Models from the Masters (2000), and Investing Under Fire, Winning Strategies from the Masters for Bulls, Bears, and the Bewildered (2003). Both are compilations by leading business, market and educational authorities who reveal their techniques for successful trading.
