I was just looking over the Option Flow table in our Options Center and noticed AngloGold Ashanti Ltd (AU) on the put buying side.

While we are officially neutral on gold, this stock has shown a strong uptrend. The weekly chart shows resistance near 50 but the stock has the wind at its back.

A quick glance at the sentiment profile shows analysts are far from overly optimistic. Only a handful cover the equity and those that do are on the sidelines.

The full Option Flow table is posted below. If you aren't familiar with data, here is the description from the help link -

"The Option Flow filter shows the percentage of volume crossing at the ask price, offering traders insights into whether options are being purchased or sold. Clicking on the "call buying" link will display a list of stocks that have seen a high percentage of their call volume crossing at the ask price, indicating that the contracts were purchased. Clicking on the "put buying" link will display a list of stocks that have seen a high percentage of their put volume crossing at the ask price, indicating that the contracts were purchased. A heavy concentration of call volume would indicate high levels of optimism, but a contrarian would ask if that optimism is warranted by the stock's performance. Likewise, while a heavy concentration of put volume would indicate heavy levels of pessimism, a contrarian might conclude expectations are too low and see a bullish opportunity. "
