Amid a raft of pre-market economic data, futures are pointed slightly lower this morning. In company news, here are some stocks to watch today:

  • At Tesla Motors Inc's (NASDAQ:TSLA) annual shareholder meeting yesterday, CEO Elon Musk said that, despite being overworked, he intends to continue heading up the automaker for the next four to five years. In addition, Musk admitted he may make a "fairly controversial" decision regarding TSLA's patents, leading to speculation that the executive may choose to release some of the company's proprietary information in order to stimulate development of electric car technology. (USA Today)

  • Among the biggest announcements at Apple Inc.'s (NASDAQ:AAPL) Worldwide Developers Conference yesterday: The Cupertino, California-based company will drop Google Inc (NASDAQ:GOOGL) as its "Spotlight" search provider for Mac OS X, in favor of Microsoft Corporation's (NASDAQ:MSFT) Bing. The news also led to speculation that AAPL might be working to turn Siri into a separate search engine down the line. Elsewhere, the three tech companies are among those being targeted by a pair of Chinese state-owned media outlets, which called for them to be "severely punished" for their alleged participation in the National Security Agency's (NSA) PRISM scandal. • The U.S. Justice Department will review the licensing agreements between Pandora Media Inc (NYSE:P) and several songwriter groups, which could change the amount the Internet radio issue has to pay artists when their songs are played. The conflict arises from the gradual changes taking place within music delivery, with the shift away from recorded content and toward digital, streaming models. (Bloomberg)

  • UnitedHealth Group Inc. (NYSE:UNH) earlier announced that it will raise its quarterly dividend by 34% to $0.375 per share, to be paid Wednesday, June 25. The company also announced that its board approved a 100-million-share buyback program. (MarketWatch)

  • Also, FuelCell Energy Inc (NASDAQ:FCEL) and Mattress Firm Holding Corp (NASDAQ:MFRM) reported quarterly earnings. (Bloomberg; MarketWatch)

  • Finally, a fashion-forward line of Google Glass -- courtesy of Diane von Furstenberg's DVF label -- will go on sale Monday, June 23. The eyewear will come in five different frames and eight different shades, and will cost $1,620 for non-prescription lenses and $1,725 for prescription ones. (CNBC)
