  • Lululemon Athletica inc. (NASDAQ:LULU) is reportedly in talks to go private. Advisers to Dennis Wilson, founder of the yoga apparel maker, have held discussions with private equity firms including Leonard Green & Partners, according to The Wall Street Journal. (Reuters)

  • Volkswagen's alleged plans to buy truck maker PACCAR Inc (NASDAQ:PCAR)? "Complete rubbish," according to a spokesman for the German automaker. (Reuters, via CNBC)

  • Facebook Inc (NASDAQ:FB) announced late Wednesday that it will purchase LiveRail, a San Francisco-based ad technology company. Terms of the deal were not disclosed. (MarketWatch)

  • American Apparel Inc (NYSEMKT:APP) founder and ousted CEO Dov Charney is reportedly throwing in the towel in his efforts to take majority control of the retailer. Sources say Charney has handed over all of his voting rights and his entire APP stake to Standard General LP. (Reuters)
